Landry Shamet is set to enter free agency after a season with the Washington Wizards.

NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Wizards are declining Shamet’s $11 million contract option for next season.

Shamet, a career 38.4% three-point shooter, will now join the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

This past season, Shamet averaged 8.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game in 15.8 minutes.

Shamet’s shooting ability and potential make him an appealing option for various teams seeking backcourt depth.
