Rob Dillingham, the Minnesota Timberwolves’ No. 8 draft pick, recently disclosed his childhood idol.
According to Dillingham, his favorite player growing up was none other than the two-time NBA champion, Kevin Durant.
“It’s definitely [Kevin Durant]… Nobody’s 6’11 and can hoop like KD, so it’s just a different type of player when he gets straight buckets,” Dillingham expressed.
The revelation sheds light on Dillingham’s admiration for Durant’s unique blend of size, skill, and scoring prowess.
As a highly touted prospect, Dillingham looks to emulate Durant’s impact on the court as he transitions to the NBA.
