Markieff Morris has announced his return to the Dallas Mavericks for the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season, continuing his tenure with the team.

The veteran forward took to social media to confirm his decision and express his desire for his twin brother, Marcus Morris, to join him in Dallas.

“I’m coming back. I want bro to come with me,” Markieff tweeted enthusiastically.

During the previous season, Markieff Morris appeared in 26 games and averaging 2.5 points and 1.5 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game.

Meanwhile, Marcus Morris, who played for both the Philadelphia 76ers and Cleveland Cavaliers, is currently a free agent after the season’s end.

Marcus’s stats for the season reflect his versatility, averaging 6.4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per game.

The Morris twins, known for their toughness and basketball IQ, could potentially reunite on the Mavericks’ roster.
