the New York Knicks have opted to sign-and-trade Shake Milton to the Brooklyn Nets as part of a larger deal involving Mikal Bridges and Bojan Bogdanovic.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, the Knicks are facilitating Milton’s move to Brooklyn, where he will join the Nets’ roster.

As part of the trade agreement, the Nets will also send Keita Bates-Diop to New York.

Milton, at 27 years old, split this past season between the Minnesota Timberwolves, Detroit Pistons, and the Knicks.

During the past season, Milton averaged 4.5 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 12.1 minutes per game.

The signing includes a three-year, $9 million contract for Milton, structured with an above-minimum salary in the first year and two subsequent non-guaranteed years.
