DeMar DeRozan has not made significant progress on securing a new contract with the Chicago Bulls. Consequently, DeRozan is expected to look into free agency opportunities.

However, DeRozan might not rush into any decisions. The experienced forward might hold off until Paul George makes his free agency choice before considering teams other than the Bulls. George plans to meet with the LA Clippers, Orlando Magic, and Philadelphia 76ers when free agency begins.
