Pat McAfee strongly criticized the media for not showing proper respect to WNBA player Caitlin Clark, who is frequently subjected to unfounded racist animosity.
These remarks followed an incident where Clark was aggressively checked by Chennedy Carter during a game on Saturday.
“So I think what we’re trying to say is that the WNBA currently has what we like to describe as a cash cow.”
“I would like the media people that continue to say this rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class.”
“Just call it for what it is, there’s one white b*tch for the Indiana team, who is a superstar.”
“Is there a chance that people just enjoy watching her play basketball because of how electrifying she is, what she did, what she stood for…?”
“But instead we have to hear people say that we only like her ’cause she’s white and she’s the only popular because the rest of the rookie class is doing what they’re doing. That’s a bunch of bulls**t.”
