Draymond Green predicts the Timberwolves will beat the Mavericks in the Conference Finals. This prediction comes after Minnesota’s impressive comeback in the semifinals against the Nuggets.
The Timberwolves secured their spot in the Conference Finals by winning Game 7. Green highlighted Minnesota’s teamwork as a key factor in their success.
“What’s beautiful about what Minnesota is doing is that it’s the ultimate team thing… As of right now, I got Minnesota [beating Dallas],” Green said on The Draymond Green Show.
The Timberwolves initially took a 2-0 lead against the defending champions. However, the Nuggets responded with three straight wins, pushing Minnesota to the brink of elimination. Minnesota’s resilience showed in Game 6 when they routed Denver by 45 points.
This victory forced a decisive Game 7 in Ball Arena. The Timberwolves closed out the series in Denver, advancing to the Conference Finals.
They will face the Dallas Mavericks, who are coming off their own successful playoff run.
