Memphis Grizzlies rookie GG Jackson has bold predictions for his fellow rookie Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs, foreseeing him as the greatest player ever.

“This is very, very biased, but to me he’s going to be the greatest player to ever play this game in my opinion,” Jackson said on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back.

Jackson’s admiration for Wembanyama’s multifaceted skills and dominant performances fuels his conviction in the French rookie’s potential greatness.

Wembanyama’s stellar rookie season, earning him the prestigious Rookie of the Year title, underscores his remarkable talent and impact on the court.

With impressive averages of 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 3.6 blocks per game, Wembanyama has already made waves in the NBA.

“I was a hater when he came in,” Jackson revealed. “I’m like, he’s not too strong. Well, what does he do against bigger big? Just blows by them. I said his handle wasn’t that crazy. They gonna poke it. He’s doing shamgods from three-point line ending up at the layup.

“I said he couldn’t shoot that good. Fastbreak in transition pulling up from volleyball line. So he literally has everything, the only thing that can stop him is himself and how complacent he gets or how hungry he is. And from the looks of it, those overseed guys they don’t really take things lightly, so he’s coming for it all.”
