Charles Barkley on Team USA at the 1992 Olympics

Charles Barkley reflected on the composition of the 1992 Olympic “Dream Team,” expressing his opinion that Isiah Thomas, whom he considered a superior player to John Stockton, should have been included.

Barkley hinted at Michael Jordan’s influence in the team selection process, suggesting that Jordan may have opposed Thomas’ inclusion.

“I think [Isiah Thomas] was a better player than John Stockton. Isiah probably should’ve been on [The Dream Team]. But apparently Michael Jordan didn’t want him on the team.”
