While commenting on the disparities between the EuroLeague and the NBA, Vasilije Micic highlighted an immediate distinction: “Extra time in the summer. The length of the season is different. Last year I finished in June and I didn’t have time to work on an individual level. This is the main difference between European players and NBA players,” he emphasized.

With averages of 10.8 points and 6.2 assists since joining the Hornets, Micic also discussed areas for improvement: “I’m 30 years old and I already have my own style of play. In my free time now, I’ll have a chance to work on my off-the-dribble three-point shooting and mid-range shooting,” he said.

“In Europe after the pick and roll you have less time to read the game. I have to work on my body and get stronger. I need to do this to be ready for one-on-one defenses. I don’t think I need to get better but maintain my current level. Defense effectiveness depends on the desire you have and your body. I will work on details this summer and hopefully, they will help me get better,” he added.
