Blake Griffin, a six-time All-Star forward, has officially retired from the NBA, as announced on his Instagram account.

Drafted as the No. 1 overall pick by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2009 from Oklahoma, Griffin amassed an impressive career that included three selections to the All-NBA second team, two to the All-NBA third team, and the 2011 Rookie of the Year award.

Griffin concluded his NBA journey with the Boston Celtics during the previous season.
