Jalen Brunson delivered a spectacular performance, scoring 39 points to lead the New York Knicks (48-32) to a crucial 118-109 victory over the Boston Celtics (62-18).

The Knicks remain in contention for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, trailing the Milwaukee Bucks by just one game with two games left in the regular season.

Teammates Donte DiVincenzo and Josh Hart contributed significantly with 17 points and 16 rebounds, respectively, while Bojan Bogdanovic added 14 points off the bench. OG Anunoby chipped in 12 points for the Knicks.

Despite the loss, the Celtics put up a fight, with Jayson Tatum leading the team with 18 points.

Payton Pritchard and Jaylen Brown each contributed 16 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Knicks’ dominance on the boards.

Despite already securing home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, the Celtics fielded their top players, but were unable to contain the Knicks’ offensive onslaught.
