The Boston Celtics have officially signed center Neemias Queta to a standard contract, the team announced today.
Queta, who initially joined the Celtics on a two-way deal in September 2023, has made an instant impact in his first season with the franchise.
Throughout the season, the 7-foot center has been averaging career-highs of 4.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks in just 11.4 minutes per game.
In the G-League, Queta has been a force to be reckoned with, averaging 14.4 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.9 blocks in eight games with the Maine Celtics.
His contributions were instrumental in Maine’s journey to the G-League Finals, where they secured the Eastern Conference Championship with Queta’s impressive performance.
