Los Angeles Lakers point guard Gabe Vincent is on the brink of making his long-awaited return to the court as the regular season draws to a close.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Vincent is slated to rejoin the team during their current road trip and is expected to be available for Sunday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets, barring any setbacks.
Vincent has been sidelined since December 20th after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, a procedure that has kept him out of action for a substantial portion of the season.
In the limited action he has seen this season, Vincent has been averaging 5.4 points and 3 assists per game in just over 25 minutes of play.
