Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams combined for 68 points to lead the Oklahoma City Thunder (43-19) to a 128-120 win over the Portland Trail Blazers (17-44) on Wednesday night.

Gilgeous-Alexander dropped game-high 37 points, while Williams contributed 31, and Chet Holmgren added 21 points and a season-high 14 rebounds for the Thunder.

Despite a strong effort from Anfernee Simons, who scored 29 points for the short-handed Blazers, supported by Jerami Grant (20 points), Duop Reath and Matisse Thybulle (16 each), Portland couldn’t overcome the offensive onslaught from Oklahoma City.

With this victory, the Thunder solidified their position at the top of the Western Conference standings, tying with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
