In Game 3 against the Philadelphia 76ers, Mitchell Robinson of the New York Knicks exited at halftime due to a sprained left ankle. Despite initially staying in the game, Robinson’s mobility was visibly impacted by the injury. Post-game, he was seen leaving the arena in a walking boot.
The injury occurred when Sixers’ Joel Embiid, attempting to draw an offensive foul, fell and inadvertently pulled Robinson to the floor. The play was later deemed a Flagrant 1 foul on Embiid. Knicks players criticized the play as “dirty.” Robinson’s availability for Game 4 on Sunday is pending updates from the team.
