Stephenson is optimistic about his potential contributions to an NBA team and believes he can offer assistance in various aspects if given another opportunity in the league.
In an interview with Sam Yip of Hoops Hype, Stephenson highlighted his strengths, including leadership, mentorship for young players, a winning mentality, and a defensive edge.
He expressed his belief that many teams, especially during the playoffs, could benefit from tough players adept at defense, and he is ready to bring the necessary elements to help a coach achieve success.
“Leadership. Definitely, helping young guys. Winning mentality, just that edge on the defensive end,” Stephenson said.
“A lot of teams need help with defense, especially during the playoffs. Tough guys that can play defense and lock down and win games. I can bring any edge that a coach needs.”
