Klay Thompson is candid about the eventual conclusion of his basketball career and has no plans to extend it until the age of 40. While expressing a desire to remain a Warrior for the entirety of his career, Thompson acknowledges the limited time he has left in the game.

He emphasized the importance of savoring every moment on the court, recognizing that he sees the ‘light at the end of the tunnel.’ However, he admitted uncertainty about playing until the age of 40, finding the idea quite exhausting.

“I would love to be a Warrior for life,” Thompson said. “Whatever happens though, I’ve got a few more years to play this game, so I’m gonna enjoy every second. I realize that I see light at the end of the tunnel, (and) I’m not sure if I want to play until I’m 40, man. That sounds really exhausting.”
