Anthony Edwards, fueled by a stellar third quarter performance, scored 32 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves (35-15) to a resounding 111-90 victory over the Houston Rockets (23-26) on Sunday night

In a game where Edwards struggled in the first half, shooting just 1 of 8 for six points, the young star tallied 22 points in the third quarter alone, outscoring the Rockets in that period.

Rudy Gobert contributed significantly with 17 points and 13 rebounds, anchoring Minnesota’s defense with four of the team’s 11 blocks.

Karl-Anthony Towns, fresh off his fourth All-Star selection, added 14 points and 10 rebounds to the winning effort.

Despite Alperen Sengun’s 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Rockets, and Cam Whitmore’s 14 points in the second half, Houston struggled to find offensive efficiency.
