The Memphis Grizzlies are locking in their promising talent, as ESPN’s NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski reports that guard/forward Vince Williams Jr. signed a new three-year, $7.9 million guaranteed contract.

Williams, the 47th overall pick from VCU in 2022, stands to receive the most guaranteed money transitioning from a two-way deal.

As part of the agreement, the contract includes a team option for the fourth year. This move not only recognizes Williams’ contributions but also provides the Grizzlies with a valuable asset for the seasons to come.

Williams, a 23-year-old sophomore, has been making significant strides in his development, earning himself a secure spot in the Grizzlies’ future plans.

In the current season, Williams has proven his value on the court, contributing an average of 5.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 21.9 minutes per game.
