Desmond Bane led the injury-plagued Memphis Grizzlies (14-23) to a convincing 120-103 victory over the Dallas Mavericks (22-16) on Tuesday night, stepping up in the absence of Ja Morant whose season is over.

Bane’s outstanding display included a 32-point contribution, helping the Grizzlies secure a 20-point lead entering the final quarter.

Despite missing key players like Marcus Smart and Jaren Jackson Jr., the Grizzlies demonstrated resilience. Smart, who scored 23 points, left the game in the third quarter due to a dislocated finger.

The Mavericks, also grappling with injuries, saw Luka Doncic in and out of the game due to an ankle injury. Doncic finished with 31 points, but Kyrie Irving’s 33 points weren’t enough to overcome the Grizzlies.
