The NBA announced on Thursday, January 29, the rescheduling of two games that were postponed earlier this week due to severe weather conditions in the Memphis and Dallas areas. The league also confirmed two additional scheduling adjustments to accommodate the changes.

In its official release, the NBA stated: “The NBA announced today the rescheduling of two games that were postponed earlier this week due to inclement weather in the Memphis and Dallas areas. Additionally, two other scheduling changes were made to accommodate the rescheduling.”

The Dallas Mavericks’ road game against the Milwaukee Bucks, originally scheduled for Sunday, January 25, will now be played on Tuesday, March 31. The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. local time, 8:00 p.m. ET, at Fiserv Forum.

Another postponed matchup, Denver at Memphis, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 18. That contest will also begin at 7:00 p.m. local time, 8:00 p.m. ET, as the Grizzlies return to FedExForum.

To accommodate the revised calendar, the NBA adjusted two additional games involving Memphis and Dallas. New York’s previously scheduled game at Memphis on Wednesday, March 18, has been moved to Wednesday, April 1.

The Dallas at Memphis matchup originally set for Wednesday, April 1, has been moved up to Thursday, March 12. Both games will retain their original 7:00 p.m. local start times.

The scheduling changes come at a critical point in the season, with playoff positioning taking shape across both conferences. Oklahoma City leads the Western Conference at 38-10, while Dallas sits 11th at 19-28 and Memphis is 12th at 18-27.

For the Bucks, currently 12th in the Eastern Conference at 18-27, the added home date against Dallas provides another opportunity to gain ground in a tightly packed middle tier. New York, holding the third seed in the East at 29-18, will need to adjust its late-season travel as April approaches.
