Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves (23-7) to a 118-110 triumph over the Dallas Mavericks (18-14) with a season-high 44 points, supported by Rudy Gobert’s 20 points and 11 rebounds on Thursday night.

The Mavericks, missing Luka Doncic on the second night of back-to-back games, fell short despite a strong effort from Tim Hardaway Jr., who scored 32 points off the bench.

Despite an 18-point lead in the first quarter, the Timberwolves faced a resilient Mavericks team, with turnovers allowing Dallas to stay in contention.

Hardaway’s outstanding shooting kept the game close, but Edwards’ explosive performance and crucial plays by Kyle Anderson secured the win for Minnesota.
