Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks (16-9) to a 131-120 victory over the struggling Portland Trail Blazers (6-18) on Saturday night, delivering a triple-double with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists.

Doncic’s brilliance was evident from the start as he poured in 30 points in the first half alone, setting the tone for the Mavericks’ dominant performance.

Tim Hardaway Jr. provided valuable support with 25 points, while Dante Exum and Derrick Jones Jr. each contributed 18 points, adding depth to the Mavericks’ scoring arsenal.

Despite the Trail Blazers’ efforts, led by Anfernee Simons with 31 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, they couldn’t contain the offensive firepower of Doncic and the Mavericks.

Jerami Grant, making his return after missing four games due to a concussion, contributed 27 points for the Trail Blazers, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Mavericks’ commanding lead.
