In a dazzling display of shooting prowess, Keegan Murray ignited the Sacramento Kings (15-9) with a career-high 47 points, including an astonishing 12 three-pointers, as they dominated the Utah Jazz (9-17) in a resounding 125-104 victory on Saturday night.

Murray’s scorching performance saw him amass a franchise-record 26 points in the third quarter alone, setting the court ablaze and putting Klay Thompson’s NBA record of 14 three-pointers within reach.

Despite narrowly missing the record, Murray joins an elite group of players who have made 12 or more threes in a single game.

Adding to the Kings’ offensive onslaught, Domantas Sabonis contributed a solid double-double with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, marking his seventh consecutive double-double and 20th of the season.

Colin Sexton led the scoring efforts for the Jazz with 28 points, while Lauri Markkanen chipped in with 18. However, their contributions couldn’t stem the Kings’ tide.

Despite the absence of starting point guard De’Aaron Fox due to right shoulder irritation, the Kings showcased their depth and resilience.

On the other side, the Jazz missed the services of Jordan Clarkson for the third consecutive game with a right hamstring strain and John Collins, who sat out his fourth straight game due to illness.
