Sasha Vezenkov achieved his highest point total in an NBA game with 13 points, but despite his efforts, the Sacramento Kings faced their first defeat against the Los Angeles Clippers since October 2022.

Following significant victories against the Timberwolves and the Warriors, the Kings experienced a 131-117 loss.

Vezenkov surpassed his previous scoring record of 11 points, hitting 3 out of 5 three-pointers, which equaled his personal best against the Cavaliers.

Additionally, he secured five rebounds and played a season-high 24 minutes, surpassing his previous record of 18 minutes against the Lakers.

“It was obvious that we were emotionally empty after the comeback game yesterday,” the 2023 EuroLeague MVP told reporters after the game.

“The Clippers played an amazing game. We weren’t physical and let them shoot 50% from 3. We lacked the energy and struggled offensively in the first half. We got to be better in back-to-back games,” Vezenkov noted.
