Nikola Jokic orchestrated a triple-double with 32 points, 15 assists, and 10 rebounds, while Michael Porter Jr. delivered a season-high 30 points, propelling the Denver Nuggets (13-6) to a convincing 134-124 victory against the Houston Rockets (8-8) on Wednesday night.

Jamal Murray’s return from a hamstring injury added firepower to the Nuggets, contributing 16 points and sparking Denver to one of its most impressive offensive displays this season.

Jokic, back after a brief absence due to a lower back injury, recorded his seventh triple-double of the season, highlighting his MVP-caliber performance.

The Nuggets had lost twice to the Rockets in November but redeemed themselves with a dominant victory.

Despite missing forward Aaron Gordon due to a strained right heel, the Nuggets dominated from the start, scoring a season-high 41 points in the first quarter and leading by as many as 19.

Houston, playing the second night of a back-to-back, couldn’t overcome the Nuggets’ offensive onslaught. Gerald Green led the Rockets with 26 points, while Alperen Sengun added 22.

The absence of guard Fred VanVleet, sidelined with a sprained left thumb, further challenged the Rockets.
