Clippers head coach Ty Lue remains resolute in keeping Russell Westbrook in the starting lineup alongside James Harden, as reported by Andrew Greif.
Addressing the possibility of bringing Westbrook off the bench, Lue stated, “No, I haven’t thought about that.”
He expressed satisfaction with the team’s recent rotations and energy from the second unit in the previous game, emphasizing the need for improved performance, particularly in shot-making and confidence.
Lue added, “We just got to play better. Make shots, play with the confidence that we can play with and be better, and that’s going to come.”
This season Westbrook is averaging 14 points, 7 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 30.7 minutes per game.
