Pascal Siakam scored 29 points, matching his season high, while Tyrese Haliburton added 28 points and 10 assists as the Indiana Pacers edged the Portland Trail Blazers 121-114 on Wednesday.

Bennedict Mathurin contributed 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, leading the Pacers’ charge in a pivotal second-half turnaround.

The victory marked Indiana’s third straight win and improved their home record to 7-2.

Portland opened the game strong, hitting nine three-pointers in the first half and building a 10-point lead in the second quarter. However, Mathurin’s 13-point effort in the second quarter helped Indiana pull even at halftime.

Anfernee Simons paced the Trail Blazers with 30 points, sinking six shots from beyond the arc. Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe chipped in 17 points each for Portland, which struggled to maintain offensive consistency in the second half.

The Pacers led by 11 entering the fourth quarter but faced a rally from the Blazers, who cut the deficit to two. Siakam and Haliburton responded with clutch performances in the final minutes, combining for 21 points to secure the win.

Indiana’s balanced scoring effort also saw Myles Turner finish with 15 points and eight rebounds.

The Blazers, now 3-8 on the road, struggled to recover from shooting lapses in the second half despite solid efforts from their starters.

Deni Avdija added 16 points and seven assists for Portland, while Deandre Ayton contributed 16 points and 12 rebounds.

Indiana shot 48.9% from the field, with 13 three-pointers on 40.6% shooting from beyond the arc. They also dominated the boards with a 47-38 rebounding edge, including 19 offensive rebounds.
