Charlotte Hornets veteran Gordon Hayward believes that the group has struggled with offensive spacing early on.

“Moving too fast, some spacing issues. I think guys are trying to make plays, but the spacing is not right, so it’s two defenders to the ball and now there’s hands in there. I remember Boris Diaw told me when I was in Utah, ‘The thing that makes a good offensive player is the correct space.’ So if we don’t have space, we’re just making it tough on ourselves. We gotta figure that out, we can’t be on top of each other. We gotta share the ball too, just make the easy simple reads.”
