Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr shared his insights on the team’s recent addition of Chris Paul and his expectations for the veteran point guard in the upcoming season.

The Warriors made headlines by trading 24-year-old Jordan Poole for the 38-year-old, 12-time NBA All-Star, who joined a squad already featuring established stars like Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

Kerr emphasized the importance of Paul embracing his natural style of play, asserting that the team needs him to be authentic and not hesitate to take mid-range jumpers when the situation calls for it.

“I told him we need him to be himself. He’s trying to fit in. Sometimes we need him to go take four mid-range jumpers in a row,” Kerr said, per Anthony Slater.
