Transitioning to the NBA following a runner-up finish with Olympiacos at the 2023 EuroLeague Final Four, Sasha Vezenkov is adapting to his new role with the Sacramento Kings.
Despite facing defeats in both preseason-friendly games against Toronto and the Los Angeles Lakers under Mike Brown’s coaching, Vezenkov remains resolute when it comes to making necessary adjustments.
“Winning is a habit, so we have to make this a habit,” Vezenkov said. “We have to win every game, even if it’s a friendly. We have to raise our intensity, and our physicality and keep getting better.
“We struggle on both ends of the court, but we’re improving. A little bit slower than what we expected, but it’s still October.”
