
The French Basketball League (LNB) disclosed clubs’ budgets for the 2023-24 season, shedding light on the financial figures of EuroLeague participants AS Monaco and LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne.
Monaco achieved a new club record with a budget of €27.1 million, allocating €13.1 million for players’ and coaches’ salaries. To put it in perspective, Monaco operated with a €20.7 million budget last season, with €10.8 million dedicated to salaries.
On the other hand, ASVEL also saw a budget increase, rising from €15.8 million in the previous year to €21 million for the current season. ASVEL’s expenditure on players rose from €4.2 million in the last campaign to €7 million this season.
