Cam Johnson has been diagnosed with a mild hamstring strain, leading to his absence from the beginning of the training camp, as announced by the Brooklyn Nets on Monday. The injury occurred during an on-court workout.

Despite the setback, the 27-year-old remains optimistic about making a return at some point during the preseason.

“I do expect to play at some point in preseason, just not in these next couple of days, and we’ll see how it goes in this next week,” said Johnson.
