The Milwaukee Bucks have added another weapon to their roster as they prepare to defend their championship title.
NBA insider Shams Charania broke the news, revealing that free agent guard Cam Payne has agreed to a one-year deal with the Bucks.
Payne’s journey to Milwaukee took a few twists during the offseason. On July 17, 2023, the Phoenix Suns traded him, along with a 2025 second-round pick and cash considerations, to the San Antonio Spurs.
However, he was waived by the Spurs on September 11, 2023, paving the way for his arrival in Milwaukee.
The 29-year-old guard averaged 10.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in just 20.2 minutes per game for the Suns last season.
