New Dallas Maverick Derrick Jones Jr. is confident that his defense can help the group in 2023-24.

Reporter: “What kind of impact do you feel like you can have on this team this season?”
Jones: “I feel like I could be one of the top defenders on the team, for sure. Whenever I get my opportunity to knock down shots and create different opportunities, just crashing the glass, cutting into the lane, and going against closeouts.”
