Besiktas have signed veteran European traveller Tremmell Darden from Euroleague finalists Olympiacos.

Darden heads to Turkey in search of more minutes following a spell at the Greek giants, where he was unable to find more consistent playing time.

He averaged around 20 minutes per game at his three previous sides Unicaja Malaga, Zalgiris and Real Madrid but under coach Giannis Sfairopoulos, he played under 15 minutes a contest, with Darden registering just five minutes in the 2015 Euroleague championship game against Real Madrid.

Darden only averaged 4.2 points a game in the Greek League, as Olympiacos claimed their eleventh domestic crown.

But the 33-year-old Inglewood, California native looks to reinvigorate his career with the Istanbul side as he joins a strong roster that features Maciej Lampe, Erik Murphy, DJ Seeley and Lamont Hamilton.
