Galatasaray has signed veteran Joey Dorsey as they rebuild their squad for the upcoming domestic and Eurocup seasons.

Dorsey arrives from the Houston Rockets, where he averaged 2.7 points and 4.0 rebounds a game last season but overall struggled to find consistent minutes with the NBA side following his move from Barcelona.

He was traded to the Denver Nuggets in July but was eventually waived.

The 31-year-old native of Baltimore won the 2012 Euroleague title with Olympiacos and during his time in Europe, has never had a problem settling into the system, unlike his years in the NBA.

Dorsey though heads for a second spell in Turkey after a successful season, personally for Gaziantep, where he won the 2013 TBL All-Star Game MVP.

The big man joins an experienced squad that features fellow newcomers Stephane Lasme, Caleb Green, Blake Schlib as well as Serbian Vladimir Micov.
