In a recent interview with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson on the final episode of Scoop B Selects, former Utah Jazz big man Antoine Carr provided a glimpse into the mind of basketball legend Michael Jordan.

He revealed the psychological tactics Jordan employed on the court to gain an advantage over his opponents.

Carr explained, “Mike would just give you that look. I’ve known Mike for a long time, and Mike has a ‘certain’ look when he’s about to get you. I call it the ‘Get You Look,’ and then he does that little walk-off, you KNOW you’re in trouble.”

He went on to recount instances when Jordan would taunt opponents, predicting a tough night for them.

Carr also shared a memorable moment involving Scottie Pippen and Jordan, highlighting their team’s efforts to get into their opponents’ heads. “You don’t deliver on Sundays,” Pippen once remarked to an opponent at the free-throw line, with Jordan playing his part in the psychological game.

These mind games, as Carr pointed out, were part of the winning mentality that defined Jordan’s era, often proving effective in tilting the balance in favor of the Chicago Bulls.
