In a recent interview, Patrick Beverley shared his opinion when asked about the potential of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown leading the Celtics to victory together.

His response was unequivocal: “No, too much of the same player. They don’t complement each other enough. They complement each other, but not enough.”

Pressed further on whether Boston should part ways with Tatum or Brown, Beverley advocated a different strategy, saying, “You don’t get rid of anything; you just add. I don’t know… you add a defensive point guard, you add a 3-and-D guy, maybe shot-blocking, a stretch five. But they did it with Porzingis. So with Porzingis, they got a lot better.”
