Amidst the NBA’s investigation into his his “liar” comment, veteran guard James Harden explained to league investigators that he had directed his comment towards the Philadelphia 76ers president Daryl Morey.
Morey had apparently informed Harden of his swift potential trade shortly after Harden’s decision to opt in for the 2023-24 season at $35.6 million. The current position held by the Sixers is that they anticipate retaining Harden.
