The Charlotte Hornets have reached a contract agreement with Hunter, per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report. The exact details of the deal are yet to be announced.
A journeyman, Hunter was picked by the Boston Celtics for the No. 28 pick of the 2015 Draft. He previously played for NBL’s Sydney Kings last year.
The addition of the 29-year-old further adds backcourt depth for Charlotte as they already have LaMelo Ball, Brandon Miller, and the newly-signed Frank Ntilkina.
