The San Antonio Spurs have officially made an agreement with Frost Bank for the new naming rights of their arena.

Both San Antonio and Frost Bank have been partnered since the franchise was founded back in the 70s. Now, their indelible collaboration is set to reach new heights as the Spurs will now have the Frost Bank Center as its newly-branded home.

The naming rights will kick off starting in the upcoming 2023-24 season.

“We believe in San Antonio – it’s our hometown.  We want this relationship with the Spurs to demonstrate our unwavering sense of pride for San Antonio’s rich history and its bright future,” said Frost Chairman and CEO Phil Green in a statement.

“The longevity and success of both the Spurs and Frost Bank are rooted in our shared values of integrity, caring and excellence. These values ultimately help strengthen and shape our entire community. For 50 years, we have been proud to be a sponsor and a partner with the Spurs. Por Vida. Go Spurs Go!”

The Spurs have been in ties with AT&T on the naming brand of their home court for 16 years. They’ve been sheltering their arena since 2002 wherein it was initially known as the SBC Center.

The new naming rights are coming in towards this year’s top overall pick Victor Wembanyama’s much-anticipated rookie season.
