The Spurs are reportedly moving on from play-by-play announcer Jacob Tobey after allegations surfaced that he had an affair with the sister of one of the team’s players.

The controversy began earlier this week when a series of posts appeared on Tobey’s Instagram account, allegedly published by his former girlfriend after she gained access to it.

“This is my girlfriend of six years. But I cheated on her with [redacted],” one Story read.

It continued, “So feel free to continue following me if you really think I’m a good guy because I’m not. :)”

A second post showed Tobey kissing the alleged mistress alongside the caption, “Me and the new girl.”

Although the posts were later deleted, screenshots quickly spread online, with fans identifying the woman as the sister of a Spurs player.

According to Front Office Sports, Tobey’s time with the Spurs has now come to an end. Neither the organization nor Tobey’s representatives have commented publicly.
