Both Goran Dragic and representatives of the Miami Heat have had conversations about a probable reunion as the former franchise guard remains openly interested in returning to South Beach, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

But Jackson pointed out that a decision coming from the side of Miami about a possible deal with Dragic may take time and would only come until late summer.

Throughout the offseason, Dragic has been making significant Heat headlines as he consistently expressed that his door remains open for another run with Miami.

Dragic spent seven seasons for Miami, enjoying the best years of his NBA career there. He was their 2017-18 NBA All-Star and the focal point man of their fruitful NBA Finals run last 2019-20 season.

In 391 regular season games as a Heat, Dragic averaged 16.2 points, 5.2 assists, 3.6 boards, and 45.7 percent efficiency from the field.

He remains an unsigned free agent after finishing his 2022-23 season with the Milwaukee Bucks.
