According to Alessandro Luigi Maggi, Panathinaikos is currently in advanced negotiations with Spanish power forward Juancho Hernangomez. The news, which is reported by SDNA and ERT Sports, suggests that the Greek basketball club is actively pursuing the 27-year-old free agent.
Hernangomez’s NBA journey with the Raptors was relatively short-lived. After signing a one-year contract with the Raptors in July 2022, the forward was waived by the team on February 28, 2023.
During his time with Toronto, Hernangomez averaged 2.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in just under 15 minutes per game. Throughout his NBA career, he has maintained averages of 5 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.
