Four-time NBA All-Star Kemba Walker is set to embark on a new chapter in his basketball career as he joins AS Monaco for the 2023-24 EuroLeague season.
The 33-year-old point guard is looking forward to playing alongside EuroLeague standout Mike James, whom he admires for his creativity, passion, and confidence on the court.
“We all know what a special player he is,” Walker commented on Mike James. “I love the way he plays and I love his creativity. He has a huge passion for the game and it shows. I think he has great confidence in himself. And I can’t wait to be alongside him on the pitch.”
During the previous EuroLeague season, James showcased his scoring prowess, averaging an impressive 15.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 30 minutes per game.
After reaching the Final Four in Kaunas last season, with two talented guards like Walker and James leading the charge, AS Monaco is sure to be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming EuroLeague campaign.
