James Harden appears itching to finally move on from his Philadelphia 76ers chapter.

And this can already be hinted at from his recent social media activities wherein he interestingly deleted and removed the profile details of his affiliation in the franchise.

From the screenshots provided below by Sixerdaily, Harden changed his Twitter bio “NBA Player for the Philadelphia 76ers” to @jhardenwines, a page that promotes his personal wine business. The All-Star also removed “Philadelphia, PA” at the location section of his profile.

On a similar note, Harden also dumped all of his 76ers references and connections on his Instagram account.

Upon being frustrated with how the 76ers handled his free agency case this offseason, Harden ultimately exercised his $35.6 million player option for the 2023-24 season. But this move didn’t mean he will run it back with Philly; instead, to secure himself financially for a year and announce his intent to get traded.

Harden primarily listed the Los Angeles Clippers as his preferred destination, but a recent update by Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer has noted that while the Clips are enticed for a potential union, they are reportedly hesitant to give up massive assets and a star player to obtain the star guard.

This doesn’t sit well with what team president Daryl Morey proclaimed in a recent interview with 97.5 The Fanatic. While they do continue to fetch Harden’s wish of separation, Morey reiterated that they will only push the trade button for returning pieces that will maintain or improve their contending state.

For now, Harden has to keep up the wait and see if his social media moves will manifest to his utmost desire of exit sooner than later.
