New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain and is currently considered day-to-day, according to ESPN sources.

Anunoby suffered the injury during the closing minutes of the Knicks’ Game 2 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers after appearing to land awkwardly on a dunk attempt.

The injury is a significant concern for New York given how important Anunoby has been throughout the postseason.

The veteran forward is averaging 21.4 points per game in the playoffs, making him the Knicks’ second-leading scorer during their playoff run.

Anunoby is officially listed as questionable for Game 3 on Friday in Philadelphia as the Knicks attempt to extend their 2-0 series lead.
