Panathinaikos has signed Jerian Grant, the 2022-23 EuroCup MVP, to a one-year deal. Grant, a 30-year-old American guard, joins from Turk Telekom, where he helped lead the team to last season’s EuroCup Final.

He spent five seasons in the NBA before joining Promitheas Patras in Europe. Grant’s performances caught Milan’s attention, and he contributed to their Italian League title.

Last season, he excelled with Turk Telekom, both in the EuroCup and the Turkish League. Grant now looks to make his mark in the EuroLeague with Panathinaikos under coach Ergin Ataman.

In 22 EuroCup games, Grant averaged 14.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.3 steals per game.

Grant’s brother Jerami has recently penned a five-year, $160 deal with the Trail Blazers.
